Introduction to Academician Young Hee LEE’s Team at Hubei University of Technology

李永熙(Young Hee LEE)教授,韩国籍,中国科学院外籍院士、韩国科学技术翰林院院士、发展中国家科学院院士,长期从事二维材料理论和应用研究,迄今发表了约660余篇SCI国际期刊论文,其中包括《Nature2篇、《Science7篇;论文总引用次数超过83,000余次,H指数为148;连续多年入选科睿唯安高被引科学家;其研究成果在国际上产生了广泛而重要的影响。

Professor Young Hee LEE, a South Korean national, is a foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, an academician of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology, and an academician of the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World. He has long engaged in theoretical and applied research on two-dimensional materials, having published approximately 660 papers in SCI international journals, including 2 in Nature and 7 in Science. His works have been cited over 83,000 times, with an H-index of 148. He has been repeatedly recognized as a "Highly Cited Researcher" by Clarivate Analytics and his research has had a significant and widespread impact internationally.

Academician Young Hee LEE has established the Low-Dimensional Quantum Materials (LQM) Research Center at Hubei University of Technology. This research center spans 16,000 square meters and is equipped with world-class scientific research instruments and facilities, fostering an open and inclusive academic research atmosphere. It serves as a “playground” for researchers to conduct cutting-edge studies on low-dimensional quantum materials. Researchers can access this center through a “one-stop” service, facilitating comprehensive research processes that include material growth, characterization/analysis, and device manufacturing. The research center focuses on the forefront of artificial quantum low-dimensional material development, prioritizing basic research to yield high-level foundational research results while achieving the scaled industrial application of various core technologies related to low-dimensional materials. This aims to provide theoretical and technical support for the development of new materials, new energy, optoelectronics, information technology, biomedical fields, and related industries in Hubei Province.

III. Recruitment Conditions

1. 具有良好的思想政治素质和职业道德,师德师风端正,科学态度严谨,爱岗敬业,身体健康。

2. 获得博士学位一般不超过三年,或申报时已满足博士学位论文答辩的基本要求。

3. 年龄一般不超过35周岁,具有良好的学术背景和较强的学术潜能。

4. 人事关系转入我校,全职从事博士后研究工作。

1. Candidates must possess a strong sense of political quality and professional ethics, demonstrate upright conduct in teaching, exhibit a rigorous scientific attitude, display dedication to their work, and maintain good physical health.

2. A PhD degree obtained within the last three years is generally required, or candidates must meet the basic requirements for the defense of their doctoral dissertation at the time of application.

3. Applicants should typically be no older than 35 years and possess a solid academic background along with strong academic potential.

4. Personnel relations must be transferred to our university, with candidates dedicating themselves full-time to postdoctoral research.

在站待遇

IV. In-Station Benefits

1. 博士后创新人才岗位年薪26万元、博士后重点研究岗位年薪22万元、博士后基础研究岗位18万元,按月预发70%,剩余部分在出站考核合格后一次性发放。全职博士后完成岗位目标任务取得的科研成果可享受学校科研业绩奖励。

2. 博士后创新人才岗位自然科学类科研启动经费15万元,博士后重点研究岗位自然科学类科研启动经费12万元,博士后基础研究岗位自然科学类科研经费7万元。

3. 全职博士后在站期间提供住房补贴2000/月,享受学校在编在岗教职工校内医疗服务、户口迁移、档案管理、子女入学等方面同等福利待遇。

4. 博士后在站期间可申请师资博士后,师资博士后另享受1500/月的岗位津贴。

5. 对于博士后出站考核结果达到相应等次另享受一次性奖励绩效。

1. The annual salary for the Postdoctoral Innovator Position is 260,000 CNY, for the Postdoctoral Key Research Position is 220,000 CNY, and for the Postdoctoral Basic Research Position is 180,000 CNY. 70% of the salary will be paid monthly, with the remaining portion issued in a lump sum after successfully completing the exit assessment. Full-time postdoctoral researchers achieving research results that meet position objectives will be eligible for performance rewards from the university.

2. Start-up research funding for Natural Science for the Postdoctoral Innovator Position is 150,000 CNY, for the Postdoctoral Key Research Position is 120,000 CNY, and for the Postdoctoral Basic Research Position is 70,000 CNY.

3. Full-time postdoctoral researchers will receive a housing allowance of 2,000 CNY per month during their tenure and will enjoy the same welfare benefits as full-time faculty and staff, including access to campus medical services, relocation of household registration, management of archives, and enrollment of children.

4. While on station, postdoctoral researchers may apply for the Faculty Postdoctoral Program, which includes an additional monthly position allowance of 1,500 CNY.

5. Those who achieve the corresponding grades in the exit assessment will receive a one-time performance bonus.

IV. Admission Process

1. 个人申请:申请人联系博士后合作导师,初步达成合作意向后,向学校提交进站申请、个人简介及相关佐证材料。

2. 流动站组织进站考核:对申请进站人员进行思想政治、科研能力、学术水平考核,考核通过报学校博管办。

3. 学校审批:经学校批准同意招收的人员登陆中国博士后网站进行网上申请,学校审批后,报全国博管会核准备案。

1. Personal Application: Applicants should contact their potential postdoctoral supervisors to reach a preliminary cooperation agreement, followed by submitting an application, personal resume, and related supporting materials to the university.

2. Station Assessment Organization: The mobile postdoctoral station will conduct assessments evaluating candidatespolitical outlook, research capabilities, and academic level. Those who pass will be reported to the university's postdoctoral management office.

3. University Approval: Candidates approved by the university must log onto the China Postdoctoral website to complete their online application. Following university approval, reports will be submitted for record-keeping to the National Postdoctoral Management Committee.
